No Pickle, No Onion

[ The kids were playing outside in the snow at Lake Tahoe and Jason was a bit whiny...]

Laura: "What's wrong, Jason?"
Jason: "I hungry."
Laura: "Okay, let's go inside..."
Jason: "No pickle, no onion."

[ I guess he thought he could order a hamburger any time he wanted.]

French Fries

[Laura took the kids to McDonalds one day and had to decide which Happy Meal to get for our picky 2-year-old Jason. He usually likes chicken nuggets better than a hamburger so Laura tried offering chicken nuggets to Jason...]

Laura: "Jason, would you like some chicken nuggets in your Happy Meal?"
Jason: "French Fries!"
Laura: "Yes, you'll get French Fries, but do you want chicken nuggets or a hamburger?"
Jason: "French Fries!"
Laura: "You have to have something besides French Fries."
Jason: "Ketchup!"
