Naming the colors

Brianna won two free goldfish once and when we asked her to name them, she said "Eenie, miney, mo". (Yes, she left out "meenie".) We could never get her to explain if one fish was named "Eenie" and the other "miney mo" or if they were both named "Eenie, miney, mo" or some other combination. They died a week later anyway. Later when we got two crabs for pets (yeah, I know, not very exciting, but they seemed like cheap and low-maintenance pets at the time), she named them "Eenie, meenie, miney, mo". So maybe I should not have been surprised when the following conversation occurred:

Brianna: "Look what I made!" (4 pipe cleaners rolled up into a ball)
Jack: "I see. It's a ball. What colors does it have?"
Brianna (pointing to each one in turn): "This one, and this one, and this one, and this one."
Jack (trying to get her to say the colors): "Can you name the colors?"
Brianna: "Eenie, meenie, miney, mo."

Simple love

Brianna: "I still love you, Dad."

She says this about once a day, for no apparent reason. One could read into this less charitable meanings (she still loves me in spite of my many flaws? she still loves me for the time being but when the ice cream stops, watch out?) but fortunately she is only 3 and blissfully unaware of all the hidden meanings this simple sentence could hold.
