I want chicken!

Jason [banging his elbows on the table]: "I want chicken! I want chicken!"
Laura [in a calm but threatening voice]: "Jason, find another way to tell us what you want."
Jason [thinking for a moment]: "Daddy, why didn't you get me any chicken yet!"

[At that point we couldn't hold our serious faces and we both cracked a smile.]

I think I know

[Laura was rummaging through the backpack on the airplane searching for some more snacks for the kids because they said they were hungry.]

Jason: "I think I'm full."
Laura [exasperated]: "You think you're full or you know you're full."
Jason[sincerely]: "I think I know."
