Choosing a bedtime book

Jack: Which book do you want me to read, Brianna? Madelline, Dora, or Winnie-the-Pooh?
Brianna: Do you have Madelline?
Jack: Yep... [taking Madelline down from the shelf]
Brianna: Okay, I'll have Winnie-the-Pooh.

Playing house with Grandma

Brianna and Grandma Linda each had a Barbie doll and were playing house. At one point, Brianna was playing the mother and Grandma Linda was pretending to be a whiny kid.

Grandma (in a whiny kid voice): I don't wanna play inside. I wanna go outside.
Laura (trying to help Brianna respond): Brianna, tell her not to be so whiny.
Grandma (whiny again): I wanna go outside.
Brianna: You can!
